Privacy Policy
Thea's Kitchen is a private family meal planning and food memory app. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.
Information you add to the app
You may enter child profile details, feeding notes, food preferences, pantry items, grocery items, recipes, meal plans, meal logs, caregiver notes, and related family context. If you choose to use camera or photo features, the app may process the images you select or capture.
How information is stored
App data is stored on your device. If iCloud sync or family sharing is available and enabled, app data may also be stored in your private iCloud account and shared only with people you invite through Apple's sharing features.
AI and photo analysis features
Some features can send meal-planning prompts, pantry context, care notes, or selected photos to Thea's Kitchen's HTTPS proxy so the app can request AI-generated suggestions, image help, or photo analysis. These features are optional and are used only when you start the related action in the app.
The proxy may process request data and basic operational logs for reliability, abuse prevention, and debugging. The app does not store an OpenAI API key on your device. AI providers and hosting providers may process data as needed to provide these features.
Permissions
Camera and photo library access are optional and are used to capture or select meal, pantry, recipe, or package-label photos. You can manage these permissions in iOS Settings.
Tracking and advertising
Thea's Kitchen does not use third-party advertising, does not sell personal information, and does not use the iOS advertising identifier for cross-app tracking.
Children's information
Thea's Kitchen is intended for use by parents and caregivers. Please only enter information you are comfortable storing for family meal planning and caregiving purposes.
Data deletion
You can delete app data from within the app or by removing the app and its iCloud data from your Apple account. If you need help, contact support.
